Welcome to St. Andrew's by the Sea United Methodist Church

The purpose of our nursery is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for you child, which will enable your child to build a strong foundation for a lifelong relationship with God.

Our programs are staffed by paid and CPR-certified childcare workers who are fully trained. Your children will see familiar faces every time they enter the nursery, which will allow them to build trust and loving relationships with our workers quickly.

Our workers will rock, read, feed, and play with your children to ensure that they are content while visiting the nursery.

Nursery Safety:

Your child's safety is very important to us and we have incorporated the following features into our programs to insure that every child will be safe while visiting our nursery and toddler rooms.

1. Paid, trained, and certified childcare workers in both rooms.

2. Identification badges for workers

3. Daily safety check for all toys, furniture, and supplies

4. A pager system allows us to contact you immediately if your child needs you.

5. Two or more adults present at all times.

6. Sign-in / Sign-out procedure ensures your child will be released only to you or someone you have specified.

7. Nursery toys and furniture disinfected daily.

8. Crib liners washed after each use

9. Outside door remains closed during services

10. Our health policy ensures the children and workers in the program are healthy
