St. Andrew's is proud to host a concert by the Kiev Symphony
Orchestra and Choir on Friday, September 26, 2008.
The KSOC will stay overnight in San Clemente on September 26, 27
and 28. Please consider hosting one or two members for 1, 2 or 3 nights. Hosts
will meet up with their guest(s) after Friday’s concert, provide breakfast, and
return them to St. Andrew’s with a sack lunch each morning. On Saturday evening,
you will be providing the dinner – in your home, or perhaps paired up with
another host family. They leave for Arizona at 7:00 AM on Monday the 29th.
There will be assistance for you. You will receive a package of helpful info
prior to KSOC’s arrival. St. Andrew’s is planning activities and two group
dinners. We try to pair non-English speakers with a KSOC roommate who does speak
some. (Most of the Ukrainians speak a 2nd and 3rd language – it may be French,
German or Spanish.) Diane Clark will be available around the clock for questions
or concerns.

A note from Diane Clark:
"Our family hosted our first KSOC members six years ago. We are
still in touch with them. We have been to 8 beautiful KSOC concerts. Our
children know where Ukraine is and its history. The KSOC and Music Mission Kiev
have inspired us to make two mission trips (thus far) to Ukraine. Take a chance
on this. You’ll be very glad you did!"
Please contact Rev. Lucy Stafford-Lewis
or Diane Clark to sign up or for further information.
