Sunday Worship Services

We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings for worship.  St. Andrew's currently has two worship services, each with their own unique style.

9:00a.m. Contemporary Service

Our Celebration begins with the sound of guitars and rocking worship music from our band, Light Reigns.  Projected lyrics and images enable you to participate in the worship experience on many different levels.

This less formal family service is designed for people who find traditional worship does not meet their needs.  People of all ages find it refreshing and fun. Children are encouraged to follow their teachers to Sunday School after the Mystery Box.

10:30a.m. Traditional Service

Our Traditional Worship service begins with a quiet devotion and the organ prelude. This service maintains a more liturgical style (at least for Southern California), with responsive readings, corporate prayers, traditional hymns, and our ministers dressed in robes.

Music for the Traditional Service is led by our Sanctuary Choir with Nancy Rohr on piano and organ.  Highlights from week to week may include the Bell Choir, various soloists, and our Small Orchestra.  Children share a special time (Mystery Box) with the pastor and then go with their teachers to Sunday School.

Holy Communion

On the first Sunday of every month we celebrate the Lord's Supper in both services.  You do not have to be a member of St. Andrew's or any other Methodist Church to participate.  The table is open to all who wish to share in this holy sacrament.
