What It Is

The St. Andrew's By-the-Sea Foundation, is a California non-profit 501(C)3 corporation.  The Foundation was incorporated in 1998 from the St. Andrew's By-the-Sea Memorial Endowment Fund which had been in existence since 1979.

Who It Supports

The Foundation is established to support the programs and activities and missions of St. Andrew's By-the-Sea United Methodist Church.  These may include other organizations which serve the needs of the community: San Clemente, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, and the Camp Pendleton Marines and their families.

The Foundation also operates the St. Andrew’s Memorial Garden, the only licensed inurnment  facility in South Orange County open to members of the church and community.

Ways To Support The Foundation

  • Summer Youth and Children’s Camperships

Youth Camps can be very expensive for today’s families, especially a family with multiple children hoping to attend Camps.

Every year the Foundation provides “Camperships” for families who need some assistance with this expense. Your donations help fund these Camperships.

  • Annual Foundation Dinner

Each year, we host a Fundraising Dinner, complete with delicious food and a silent auction. These fun evenings raise money for the many ministries we support.

    2025 Fundraising Dinner

This year, our evening will be called “A Feast of Faith” and will include a fabulous Italian dinner, a silent auction with many great items from local businesses, tickets to upcoming events, and gift baskets donated by individuals.  This years beneficiary is the Youth Mission Fund, which helps send our youth to mission work events.

  • All Saints Celebration in the Memorial Garden

Annually we gather on the Sunday on All Saints Sunday to remember those people who have been added during the past year.  A brief service of Celebration and a time of fellowship follows the morning worship service. All are welcome to attend!
