Mexico Mission Trip Recap 2026

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
    - Matthew 7:25

Dear Church Family,

As I type this, I can hear the wind howling and the rain pouring down outside. After a brief break, the storms have returned — and while it's cold in the office, I'm warm and dry, sheltered from it all. That thought keeps leading me back to three families in Ensenada who are also sheltered from the storm today, because of your love and generosity.

On Monday, 49 of us returned from our Mexico Mission Trip. In just three days, we built three homes. Because of that, Gloria, Mayrelin, Martin, Sebastian, Ana, Susan, Lineha, Ivan, Brayan, Itzel, Taira, and Rayan are warm and dry tonight.

None of this would have been possible without you — your gifts, your prayers, and your love that gave these families a place to call home. Words truly cannot capture the difference you have made.

This Sunday, we'll be sharing about our trip — a video, stories, and a glimpse into what your generosity made possible. As we close out Missions Month, I hope you'll join us and experience the joy of seeing God's love in action through these stories.

With God's Love,
Pastor Karl
