Wrapping Up at VBS

Dear Church Family,

As I write this, it's 4:40 on Thursday afternoon—and I have to admit, The View usually would be out by now. But this week at St. Andrew’s, things have been wonderfully busy! Why? Because it’s Vacation Bible School week, and this year's theme, True North, has taken us on an exciting journey to the Alaskan wilderness every day.

Each morning from 9:00 to 12:00, around 80 children and volunteers fill our campus with energy, laughter, and faith. We’re singing songs that celebrate God's love. Imagination Station is buzzing with science experiments that reveal lessons about Jesus. In the Sticky Scripture room, children gather beneath the Northern Lights to deepen their understanding of God's Word. The Glacier Games have everyone running, playing, and—yes—sometimes getting splashed by a bucket of water! Bible Adventures puts kids right into the heart of stories from the Bible, brought to life by our lumberjack hosts. And no day would be complete without a visit to the Tundra Treats station, where kids craft delightful snacks to enjoy.

With all this excitement, it’s been a busy week! I want to share a few photos from VBS to give you a glimpse of the fun. And I also want to invite you to experience a little bit of that joy and hear more about it during our worship service this Sunday morning. Don’t miss it—you’ll be glad you came!

With God's Love,
Karl
